Golden Ball Philadelphia Film Fest Surprise Scene
Turns out the archival print was different than the Kino DVD-In this instance where the ring scene turns out to be 15 shots rather than 1. Surprise! I think we compensated rather well.
Apologies for the poor initial quality of this one. I’m blaming it on the Youtube bugginess factor cuz my Quicktime looks fyne. If any of you adoring fans want better quality footage, contact me. jacobe dot sarah at g mail dot com.
Golden Ball performance at Philadelphia Film Festival 2008
Despite dark theater-esque conditions, I’ve managed to glean footage of our performance at the Prince Music Theater for the Philadelphia Film Festival. Golden Ball was commissioned by the festival to create a score for the 180 minute 1920 archival print of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde…which…by the way…turns out not to be the same as the kino DVD. Surprise! Nonetheless a cool event. You can refer to some earlier press below.
Live performance from last year
You may have noticed a flurry of blog activity. Your eyes are keen friend-there’s been much flurryage. I’ve forgotten that part of the goal of this blog is to gather snippets of artistic and music stuffs that I’ve done in addition to current works. I’m recalling just now that all of this stuff exists. This is mostly because I’m creating a website and I’ve begun to compile assets for the thing.
As an aside, I get caught up in the moment too much. Thank you to everyone else who owns a camera and keeps records. I need you in my life.
That said-here’s live footage from Golden Ball’s tour in April of 2007. I think this was at the Cake Shop in New York.
blarg videos
I forgot! This exists from last year. A video Golden Ball made with the help of Lord Whimsy and Magdalenus.

watercolor I did of Timothy our freshman year of college. I was obsessed with Alice Neel. Obvs.
